I Rock Photos was started by Guillermo Prieto to document with photography the Indie music scene in Southern California. On a whim in November of 2010, Guillermo went to Pappy and Harriet’s to see Cold War Kids. The band came to the iconic venue to debut material for their relase- “Mine is Yours.” As the song Mexican Dogs played, he gets a tap of the shoulder from the manager of the band. He asked Guillermo to take some pictures for the band a few days later he learns that his pictures will be in Spin Magazine. This moment of chance and great feedback from bands has lead to this Blog.
